Minicam Group are pleased to announce the acquisition of Hathorn Corporation, a business based in Ontario, Canada who design and manufacture plumbing and drainage inspection cameras, and its subsidiary Reliable Drain Cameras and Repair Inc, a camera service and repair centre based in Columbus, Ohio.
Hathorn is a privately owned company with 23 employees, specialising in the design and manufacture of pipeline inspection products. Hathorn produce an extensive range of push camera systems mainly targeted at the wastewater market, offering inspection capability suitable for plumbing, drainage and sewerage pipes, sold to customers across North America and Australia.
Established in 2003, Hathorn have built a strong reputation for producing durable cameras that align well with Minicam’s focus on providing customers with easy-to-use, robust and reliable products with excellent service and support. The North American market is a key focus for Minicam’s growth strategy, and this acquisition aligns with our ambitions to establish Minicam Group as a leading provider of inspection and maintenance products for the wastewater market in North America, accelerating our growth in our key target market.
Hathorn will continue to operate under the existing leadership of Robert Luck (CEO), operating as part of the Minicam Group. This investment enables the expansion of our footprint in North America, a key strategic territory, extending our product range and service and support capability, getting even closer to our customers.
