Minicam is delighted to announce the acquisition of Dancutter A/S, a Danish designer and manufacturer of trenchless pipeline rehabilitation equipment. Dancutter designs and manufactures in-pipe cutting equipment and consumables that are used as part of Cure-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation. CIPP is used to proactively maintain and extend the life of networks, reducing blockages and leakage and ultimately reducing the environmental contamination caused by such events. It is also a far less disruptive means of maintaining the wastewater network, reducing associated costs.

Tackling these issues is important to Minicam, and fits with our parent company Halma’s purpose to grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.

Established in January 2002, Dancutter was born from a wealth of hands-on experience, leading us to envision cutting-edge, user-friendly, and adaptable solutions across diverse materials.

Specializing in robotic cutters for cutting, grinding, and milling in materials such as PVC, liner, cement, concrete, cast iron, or steel, we excel in providing efficient alternatives for pipe renovation. Particularly in the rejuvenation of narrow pipes with bends, our straightforward and flexible cutter solutions offer a cost-effective and time-efficient substitute to the conventional approach of excavating pipes.

Our pneumatic cutters, known for their power, effectively prepare old pipes for renovation by clearing blockages and debris. Post-renovation, these cutters effortlessly open access to branch pipelines, showcasing their versatility and efficiency.

With 30 years of industry experience, we leverage our extensive knowledge and customer insights to drive continuous innovation. Our commitment to developing smart, user-friendly, durable, and high-quality systems has earned us a reputation for delivering solutions that excel in challenging environments.
